**** -30 shifts to cover for the Cole Swindell concert in Logan, Utah, on Thursday, July 23rd. CMG will provide transportation from the Maverik Center for the event. ****

SOME GUIDELINES FOR THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THESE EVENTS

  • Arriving at the event: If you are having trouble finding the check-in location, ask the venue staff where the Centennial or CMG folks are gathering.  The group is typically wearing bright orange shirts or jackets (black, white or grey polo shirts when at the Maverik Center).  No basketball style gym shorts. No leggings. no holes or tears in your pants/shorts.
  • When working your shift, communicate with a manager/supervisor as soon as you arrive or sign in if a sign in sheet is provided; communicate with the supervisor before taking a break or walking away from your post; communicate with your supervisor before leaving your post for the day.  Supervisors circle around to all those working and will make it to you to check on you throughout your shift.  It is essential that you sign in and you sign out with a supervisor and at some events you will also sign out on a paper tracking form.  This is how UHSH gets paid so it is important to seek out the supervisor at the start and end of shift and let them know your arrival and departure status.
  • Be on time.  Give yourself extra time to allow for parking.  Some venues require walking up to 15 minutes from your vehicle or longer when taking TRAX. Managers/supervisors may send folks home who arrive late for their shift.
  • If you have to cancel, let me know ASAP.  My mobile number is 801-792-6655.
  • Note the required attire for events. Black pants are required for every event.  In the warmer months, black shorts are allowed in some outdoor venues. No basketball style/gym shorts. No leggings. No holes or tears in clothing. A CMG security polo or jacket will be issued for the event, when you check-in.  When an event requires a white long sleeve shirt, you will be notified.  Required dress code will be noted in the Events posting. Ask for clarification if the required dress/attire is unclear. We are asked to maintain a clean and professional appearance - tuck in your shirt, no holes in clothing. Managers/supervisors may send folks home who arrive out of uniform for the event.
